Aisha Buhari kicks off distribution of nutritional foods to IDPs in Benisheirk, Borno State

The wife of the President Aisha Buhari was in Benisheirk, Kaga Local Government of Borno state to kick-off the distribution of food and other nutrients to returning IDPs.

Mrs. Buhari was received by the First Lady of Borno state Hajjiya Nana Kashim Shettima at the Maiduguri International Airport and later proceeded to the venue of the event.

While kicking-off the distribution, Mrs. Buhari said the items she brought to the IDPs was collected from well meaning Nigerians through the Get Involved program in an event organized in Abuja some weeks ago by her pet project, the Future Assured.

Hajjiya Nana Shettima thanked the wife of the President for the good gesture and call on the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items provided and avoid selling them.
